Flag of Venezuela available in 100% Polyester fabric and various measures from 060X100 to 150x300. Particularly suitable for outdoor use and manufactured in European union.

Origin:
The design of the Venezuelan flag comes from the revolutionary Francisco de Miranda. It was for the first time hoisted in its ship Leander in March of 1806, in Haiti, and in Venezuela in August of that same year. The Congress accepted it as a national badge in July 1811. This is known as the Mother Flag, since it is the origin of the one currently used.

History:
Did you know that in 2006 the Flag Day was changed? Until then it was celebrated on March 12, the date on which it was hoisted for the first time (1806 in Haiti), but it was changed to August 3, because it is on the date (1806) when it was hoisted for the first time on land. Venezuelan
In May of 1817 the federal government banner was approved, which included seven blue stars on the yellow strip. These represented the seven provinces that had signed the Act of Independence. But in November of that same year, Simón Bolívar ordered the incorporation of an eighth star, symbolizing the newly incorporated Guiana.
In 1930 the stars acquired their semicircle position on the blue band, although they returned to be seven instead of eight, until in 2006 the National Assembly decreed the inclusion of the eighth star, as established Simón Bolívar.

Meaning :
The Venezuelan flag is composed of three horizontal bands of yellow, blue and red, representing the wealth of the country, the sea and the sky, and the blood shed by the liberators, respectively.
In the upper left corner of the yellow strip is the coat of arms, and in the center of the blue you can see eight white stars, which refer to the eight provinces that became independent from Spain: Barcelona, Barinas, Caracas, Cumaná , Guayana, Margarita, Mérida and Trujillo.
